What We Will Not Do
We work on garage doors, springs, openers, track, cables, rollers and panels. That's the job.
We don't do general handyman work, we don't install or fix fencing, and we don't touch electrical panels beyond the dedicated circuit an opener runs on. If a wall needs to come down to widen an opening, that's a contractor job, not ours.
A lot of the houses around here date back to 1938 through 1995, with most of the stock from the 1960s and 70s. That means we see plenty of original one-piece doors and older extension-spring setups that were never meant to hold a modern insulated panel door.
Sometimes the honest answer is that the door is beyond a repair worth paying for, and replacement is the better use of your money. We'll tell you that instead of billing you for a patch that won't hold.
We also won't quote a price over the phone sight unseen on anything beyond a straightforward spring or opener swap. Track alignment, bent frames, and rotted jambs all change the job once we're standing in front of it, and guessing wrong either shortchanges you or costs us the return trip.

When you call, it helps to know a few things ahead of time: whether the door is a single or double, whether it's making noise or just stuck, and roughly how old the opener is if you know it. None of that is required, but it cuts down on back-and-forth once we're on site.
We don't run a 24-hour dispatch line, so if you call outside normal hours, leave a message and we'll get back to you. A broken spring on a double door is heavy and dangerous to force open by hand, so if you're stuck with the door down, leave it down until someone can look at it rather than trying to muscle it up yourself.
Where We Travel
Our shop on Katella Ave sits close to the middle of the area we cover. Villa Park and North Tustin are both about 4 miles out, Placentia is 6 miles, and Stanton, Midway City and Westminster are each around 8 miles from us. Platinum Triangle is just 2 miles to the northwest and the Anaheim Resort area is 3 miles west, so those jobs are usually quick to reach.
Farther out, we'll still take calls in Brea, Buena Park and Cypress at around 10 miles, La Habra and La Palma near 11 miles, and Los Alamitos, East Whittier, Seal Beach and Hawaiian Gardens around 12 miles. We also drive to Rossmoor, Rowland Heights, La Habra Heights, Cerritos and Chino Hills near 13 miles, and on the far edge of our range, Diamond Bar, Norwalk, Lakewood, Hacienda Heights, South San Jose Hills and Aliso Viejo, out to about 15 or 16 miles.
The mild temperate climate through this whole stretch means we're not chasing frozen tracks or ice-cracked seals the way a shop up in the mountains would be. Most of what pulls us out that far is a spring that let go or an opener that finally quit.
